FALL WINTER 2019: Noir Kei Ninomiya

Sometimes fashion isn't about being wearable. It's about being artistic and creating unusual pieces that need to be seen. Japanese designer Noir Kei Ninomiya created that kind of collection. It sculptural and voluminous with constructions that remind me of balloon art mixed with textures and cut outs. Though the main color is black, there are contrasts of pastel pink, cream and purple. Red flowers are featured in every headpiece, adding a romantic fantasy to the collection. These are sensual clothing, not in a sexual sense, but through the choice of fabrics that encourage touching.
