FALL WINTER 2019: Ashley Williams

Ashley Williams showed her Fall Winter 2019 collection in London, England. Her collection is eclectic and a bit choatic, like she threw in a lot of concepts, but the message wasn't visually clear. Still, I picked several favorites that I felt made the collection seem more cohesive. I love a good theme, so I liked the cat patterns, leopard prints, and fur that caught my cat lady eye. I would definitely wear the knitted cat pattern pieces. There were some sperm pieces, so I'm guessing the cat theme is actually a pussy theme. According to the designer, the concept was a mix of sexual and granny, which is what I see. If you take out the sperm pieces, which I did mostly, then the sexual aspect isn't as obvious, which I'm totally ok with. I'm cool with conservative pieces that don't lose their quirk and creativity.
