The 100 Day Project - 6/100 Venus Fly Traps

A little change up from flowers are some venus fly traps. These plants have fascinated me for years. A carnivorous plant! Truly an unusual plant. I'll definitely make more dangerous plants...carnivorous, poison, sharp, in addition to pretty flowers. I might use Amy Stewart's "Wicked Plants" as a guide for which ones to paint. If you like creepy nature things you should really read that book and her "Wicked Bugs" book too. Actually I should combine a few of those. Everyone liked bugs right?
