SEWING DIY: Zig Zag Modern Fuse Applique Quilt

It's almost Spring, which is when the human babies seem to show up in mass. I should know, I'm an early June baby, and my daughter is a May baby. My friends Amanda and Brandon are expecting their 1st baby, a little girl. I enjoy making baby quilts for friends, and rarely get the chance (um...time) to make one. I made them a Zig Zag Modern Fuse Applique Quilt using P&B Textiles Urban Scandinavian fat quarters, Fairfield World Stick and Smooth Interfacings. This is a great quilt if you're new to fusible applique and free motion embroidery. The zig zag motif repeats. The black and white color scheme keeps it modern without being too minimal. Head to Fairfield World to make your own baby quilt!
