COSTUME: Emily from "Corpse Bride"

For this costume, I chose Emily from Tim Burton's "Corpse Bride". She's an ill fated bride who is murdered by her betrothed before the wedding. She is accidentally married to a living man and the story progresses to what love means and how to resolve their big problem of the living marrying the dead. Emily's skin is blue from freezing and death. Part of her flesh are gone down to bone, so that is a great opportunity to paint bones on your skin where hers show. Her gown and veil are torn, blue tinted, have swirls on them, adding to the whimsical fantasy of the film.

There are a few tutorials for her makeup. This Emily "Corpse Bride" Makeup Tutorial is by Dope2111. I couldn't find a good tutorial for doing skeleton body makeup, just skull face and chest paint. I'll leave that part up to you.
