NYC FASHION WEEK S/S 2015: Betsey Johnson

Betsey Johnson's Spring Summer 2015 focused on her bridal line, titling it "Pre Nup". As in the pre-nuptial agreement some couples sign before marriage. There were looks perfect for a bachelorette party, the ceremony, and the wedding night (lingerie). In Betsey style, the models were mostly drag queens, including Sharon Needles and William Belli. I wish the photos had the model's names, since I recognized a few others from RuPaul's Drag Race, but couldn't remember their names. The showcase of marriage diversity, opening the show with same sex couples, drag queens and a transexual bride, speaks to what modern marriages look like. Weddings should be fun celebrations of love, no matter the gender of the person.
