NYC FASHION WEEK S/S 2015: Anna Sui

Anna Sui's Spring Summer 2014 collection was titled "Kosmic Rock Star", inspired by the glamourous and outlandish rock stars of late 60s London. Many of the fabrics and accessories are vintage reproductions from that era. There were custom made graphic boots, hand painted jackets, a plethora of prints and soft flowing fabrics, and even menswear (not seen here). I enjoy Anna Sui's vintage inspired aesthetic, always pulling from the same time period but in different ways. Always well researched and makes me want to look into the references she uses. The 1960s is my favorite time period, after all.
