PARIS FASHION WEEK F/W 2014: Dries Van Noten

Dries Van Noten's Fall Winter 2014 collection is inspired by op art, with it's sharp contrasting graphic elements. The circle and striped prints are evocative of the optical art paintings of the 1960s. There is a lily motif that is used in the prints, and large 3D broaches. Aside from the clothing and broaches, there are great bags and shoes, which you can see below in the collages. The makeup was a bold black block eye. This is something that could be recreated with a black creme eyeshadow or eyeliner, topped with black eyeshadow to prevent creasing.
