MILAN FASHION WEEK F/W 2014: Roberto Cavalli

These are my favorite looks from Roberto Cavalli's Fall Winter 2014 collection. Though I dislike all the fur and leather, I do like many of the other pieces of this collection. There is a mix of pantsuits and 1920s flapper dresses. The long animal tassel necklaces are shown with most outfits, and that's something I hope to remake myself. The prints and beading are a play on the abstract geometric trend, with an art nuveau twist. Since it's hard to make out the details of the bags and necklaces, in the 1st collage, I created a 2nd collage that showcases those. To see the full collection, watch the runway show at the bottom of this post.

These necklaces and bags are great DIY inspiration. The tassel animal necklaces could be made easily from faux leather, toys, and metallic paint.
