DESIGNER INSPIRED: Saint Laurent F/W 2014 - Look #42

This outfit is inspired by look #42 in Saint Laurent's Fall Winter 2014 collection. This look features a leopard print dress, but a different print would work too. By pairing the dress with neutral solid colors, it tones down the print. The boots in the designer look at glittery, but for practicality, I chose a grey pair. I think the neckline of the designer dress is beaded. To replicate this, I chose a silver bib necklace. Most of the collection featured mini dresses and skirts, which are normally thought to be for warm weather. By pairing this dress with a cardigan, tights, and boots, it becomes appropriate for cold weather, making this dress great for any season. The makeup featured a thick cat eye and lashes, which was a common look in the 1960s for Mod culture. It's a great look if you want a dramatic eye makeup that is easy to do...no blending and just black. Hoping these looks will inspire you all to try out a mini dress for cold or warm weather. With our weather transitioning from cold to warm, and warm to cold depending on your country, this is a great look to help with that.
