CREATIVE CHALLENGES: Day 6 - Mythical Creatures

For the 6th day of the 30 day drawing challenge, on Creative Challenges, the theme was "Mythical Creatures". I chose Sirens, which are mythical creatures that I oddly relate to. There are many depictions of them. They are beautiful and have an entrancing song. I chose to show them as mermaids, sitting on a pretty island with a deadly secret below it. The ship behind them carries unfortunate victims, coming towards the sirens captivated by the song. I rarely draw fleshy creatures, so this was a challenge. Drawing all the bones was much easier. I'm out of practice on faces, hands, and feet, but I did the best I could. I plan on coloring this one in, so my vision is more dramatic. I'll add that photo here when it's done.
