OUTFIT: Patchwork of Petals

Still playing with patchworks and florals. This is inspired by various time periods...60s and 90s mostly. This is a light weight outfit, so to warm it up some more, put on a long sleeved shirt under the dress. Over the dress, add a chunky cardigan or over-sized slouchy sweater. Since the dress has several prints, I kept the other outfit elements in soft neutrals and colors. Though the color palette for the other elements is softer than the dress, I made those textural, so they would stand out a bit. Since the dress has several floral prints, I made many of the other elements include flowers. However, you could chose simpler things that don't repeat that motif. This is just my personal style, which is a bit quirky.
