OUTFIT: Pastel Patchwork

For this patchwork outfit, I pulled colors, textures, and prints from the dress patches. There are some dark colors that balance out the pastels of the dress, so I made sure to keep that balance through out the rest of the outfit. This cozy textured knit cardigan is a great light neutral piece that helps ground the business of the patchwork. The jewelry pulls from the pastel colors, while the bag and boots pull from the dark colors. The socks pull from the maroon and pinks of the dress. To warm this up more, you could put on some thick brown tights or leggings. This outfit would be great for a semi-casual Thanksgiving meal. It's comfortable and a bit dressed up. Great for lounging around with various relatives, and hiding those 2nd and 3rd helpings...of desserts.
