COPENHAGEN FASHION WEEK: Vivienne Westwood

Vivienne Westwood's Fall Winter 2013 Anglomania Collection was shown in Copenhagen. She has multiple lines of clothing, which each have their own show. I've selected many favorite pieces from this collection, but to see the full show, go to the bottom of this post where the video is. True to the Anglomania style, there are several plaid pieces. However, it's refreshing to see some unusual prints that are almost galaxy inspired, with some more classic ones like florals and stripes. This show has a nice flow of prints and colors through out it. This collection features many looks that are very wearable without being boring.

Of all these interesting pieces, I have a couple favorites. I like the 4th look with the sweater skirt and cardigan featuring a barbed wire pattern. Though I wouldn't wear them together, they are both great takes on traditional style pieces. I love a great cardigan and this unexpected print would be a conversation starter. I have a small collection of pencil skirts with quirky prints, so this one would fit in well. My other favorite piece is the 19th look with the mini dress and long vest. I love that though this dress is very short, the overall style of it is rather conservative and has great coverage for cold weather. Pair it with some thick tights and knee high boots for added warmth. The leather looking long vest also adds warmth, but also toughens up the overall feminine dress. These are my favorites, but the see the full show, head to the bottom of the post.

I've selected some pieces to share with you, but to see Vivienne Westwood's full Anglomania Fall Winter 2013 collection, watch the video here.
