NYC FASHION WEEK S/S 2013: Wes Gordon

Wes Gordon's Spring Summer 2013 Collection feels very hip and refined. There are some subtle boho and vintage inspired elements like the low cut V tops, flowy fabrics, drop waist high-waisted skirt with flowy handkerchief hem , flamingo hem skirt, and red horizontal rectangle blouse. My favorite pieces are the 2nd look withe the fitted and gathered long jacket. I can see that being layered over a fitted blouse and easily transition into Fall and Spring. The 4th look is the drop waist high-waisted skirt with the flowy handkerchief hem, that I mentioned before. It reminds me of a 80s dress that I owned, but more flattering. The 11th look has that great hand painted swan design and another handkerchief hem. This flowing dress would be great for date nights, or lunch with a friend. Overall this collection is beautiful and great for ladies who lunch and go to formal occasions.
