NYC FASHION WEEK S/S 2013: Tadashi Shoji

I'm a fan of lace, and anything with a Mexican or India vibe, so Tadashi Shoji's Spring Summer 2013 collection caught my eye immediately. The use of subtle horizontal stripes through out makes this collection cohesive. Horizontal stripes can be hard to wear on larger body types, but with the pattern, most of these would work well for larger to smaller bodies. These are all formal dresses, but the shorter dresses, and the two with the ribbon stripes would be great for a nice dinner out or a party. If I had to pick two favorites, they would be look #3, the short sheer black dress with the collar, and look #12, the long teal dress with green and blue complimentary stripes.
