NYC FASHION WEEK S/S 2013: Ohne Titel

Ohne Titel showed a strong collection of graphic prints and color blocking for Spring Summer 2013. The use of graphic prints and color blocking has been a huge trend for New York Fashion Week Spring Summer 2013, so I'm ending my coverage with this strong collection. The swirly mirrored prints curve along the ladies' figures, in blue, orange, and neutrals. The color blocking highlights the waist and hips, giving the figures more visual definition. These are my favorite pieces from the show, but to see the full show, watch the video at the bottom of this post. Of all these great pieces, my favorites are the 8th look, which is a graphic print in cream, black, and white. The snug fit shows off the curves of the model, and the print helps define that shape. The boat neck is flattering for a nice neck, collarbones, and shoulders, making the wearer feel instantly sexy. My next favorite is the 9th look, which is a color blocked dress in cream, black, and white. I love the figure definition that the starkness of the color palette causes with the chosen shapes. The bust looks larger, the waist looks smaller, and the hips rounder, giving an instant hourglass figure. The dresses are all body conscious designs, which won't flatter a large range of sizes, but would be fabulous on someone with an hourglass or close to it figure type.
