FASHION: Anna Sui Fall/Winter 2012
Anna Sui's Fall/Winter 2012 Runway Show is full of her signature 1960s inspired style. This show has a beautiful jewel toned floral prints in comfortable swingy silhouettes. I've been really into soft fabrics and feminine florals lately, so some of the dresses would work well in my wardrobe. I like seeing jewel tones vs. muted tones for Fall/Winter. They liven up the normal color palette for Winter, and pull from the changing colors of Fall leaves. Tights are a great way of keeping warm while wearing a dress or skirt during colder months. We always have odd weather here during Fall and Winter...sudden warm to cold transitions throughout the seasons. It's nice to have pieces that can be easily paired with a cardigan and tights one day, and without on a warmer day. The styling of this collection, shows that easiness of transition in wearablity of the pieces.
