Hyberbolic Crochet
It all started one day when my wonderful best friend, Kit McSmash, found this website about Hyberbolic Space shown through a crochet model. The super ruffley balls gave me a great idea to make a scarf using the last technique of increasing by 2 stitches in every stitch. The scarf is a work in progress, but my brainstorming and interest in finding out more info on this technique is still manifesting.
While I was working on the scarf, I thought about how much it reminded me of ruffley coral or an anemone. Had I probably taken a better look at the website beyond the one page, I would have noticed their Coral Reef Project.
I implore you to take a look at the site and see what creativity it sparks in you.

Just wanted to take a second and thank you for all the effort you put into your countdown this year. I really dug the sugar skull art. Happy Halloween!
ReplyDeleteOh thanks, it was fun. I just started making skull art, so it was a perfect way to show it off.
